Just set up some custom channels in your AdSense account - one channel per ad unit. You can have a maximum of 200.

If we would know what ads they click, everybody would be rich by now. :p

So i guess there is now way to figure out who is choosing to advertise on your site rather than contexual ads huh?

You're absolutely correct - there's no way of knowing. Plus the ads will probably be geotargeted anyway, so that makes things even more complicated.

if you can't change the ads that are showing what's the point of knowing which ones are clicked? (besides the content of your page)

The only way to know your advertisers is if someone site-targets your site (usually with an image ad, or a single text ad that takes up your entire ad block, even the 336 one), and you see their ad show up all across your domain regardless of ad relevancy.

Hmm yeah its just when i see the site targeted ads when i run reports i make so much more from them. Thats why id like to knock out the contexuals so the site targeted gets all the impressions. i think i have an idea of which are site targeted just wanted to be sure there wasnt some script out there that could tell ya. Oh yeah does anyone know when it means to make your ad channel so advertisers can choose to ad on my site? THats what google told me to do. I have a channel called 300x250ATF, will and advertiser see that?

I think they mean just to turn on the "Advertise on this site" text option in your CP. If people are already site-targeting your site, you probably have it turned on. But go to your page and see if the "Advertise on this site" text is showing.

Anyways, you are somewhat confused about when Adsense shows site-targeted ads and regular contextual ads. If someone site-targets your site, those ads will guarantee to pay more, so Adsense will always give those ads immediate urgency and show it first until the advertiser runs out of funds or hits his advertising maximum. They will never voluntarily show contextual ads if there is a site-targeted ad waiting to be displayed. Remember that it is in Adsense' best interest to make sure you make the most money, because they get a chunk of it, so the more you make, the more they make.

Adsense Gold will also tell you what ads are being clicked. A warning though, I've used it and had horrible performance problems when running report queries in the script - it was opening tons of mysql connections and never closing them, bogged down my entire box.. Not recommended..

PS- Looks like H&R block has taken that 300x250 spot and has already paid out $4 on 1100 impressions. FYI

Yeah, every now and then a company rolls out a giant campaign and buys CPM impressions across the network. I remember a car company doing that last year. Everyone was seeing the car ad on their 468.
