178 to 0 backlinks and PR3 to PR0 - What caused it?

    Alright, I was reading that another TBPR and BL update was going on so I rechecked ours for http://www.xsihosting.com.

    Our backlinks dropped to 0 and our PR has dropped to 0. I did a multi-server check of PR and it's showing 0 and cached.

    So what is going on? Anyone have any idea how this could have happened and how we can correct it?

    Wait until the PR update finishes, and then see if you get the same results.

    Do xsihost.com & xsihosting.com have duplicate content?

    It's set as a Domain Alias on the same IP. As far as I knew a Domain Alias on the same IP doesn't affect PR or backlinking.

    When we first changed the marketing from xsihost.com to xsihosting.com (about 3/4months ago) and then the last PR update happened it dropped all xsihost.com to PR1 and the backlinks went down (we had updated them) and moved to xsihosting.com.

    Originally it was directing it all to xsihosting.com, before the recent update.

    it's very intresting . google pr update has finished and i think you must wait until the next pr update . if your backlinks stays , you backlink quantity will increase to the true number . you must wait now

    You need to put this in your .htaccess:
    RewriteEngine on
    Options +FollowSymLinks
    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>

    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.xsihosting\.com$ [NC]
    RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.xsihosting.com/$1 [R=301,L]
    </IfModule>
    Code (markup):
    because the status codes on both are coming up 200. This will redirect anything without www or xsihosting.com to the www version of your domain with 301 status codes, and should allow all your backlinks and PR to merge onto one domain.

    In addition, you are linking to xsihost.com on the homepage, the hyperlinks on the price images.
