Racism in TV Shows

Do you believe that there is any RACISM in or related with some TV shows? I mean the incident related with the tv show BIG BROTHER.

In it the words of James Goudy against Shilpa Shetty makes some troubles all around the world.

 

I watched it, I think what was said was a result of ignorance/stupidity rather than racism. Goodys career is now finished, (a good thing imo).

Some one tells that its a trick by the tv channel to increase the number of viewers.

 

I wouldn't be suprised, however, if that was thier intention, it ahas seriously backfired lol!

Jade Goody = ignorant Cockney slapper with zero talent and gob you could park a London bus in. I was rather surprised to see people on the streets of Delhi burning effergies of the Big Brother producer - rather pointless and silly if you ask me. Want a laugh - have a look at what I saw on Wikipedia a few days ago:

I think this is true.

 

But how ever I think the total program is a story written and directed by the channel itself for increasing the amount of the viewers.

 

Yeah, they have the control of marketing and editing, they can show it how they want to.

Man is that the real screenshot? how embarassing, well some shows do crazy stuff to increase their ratings... however there's always a bad karma if you did someone wrong.

 

I can assure you that is a completely real screenshot. A few days ago I blogged about the Jade Goody row and went to Wiki for some background info only to be confronted by this screen. I just had to save a screenshot of it!

 

Now Shilpa Shetty advanced to the next round.

I didn't see it, didn't hear about it. But I imagine it was pure ignorance or done for ratings!!

 

Celebrity Big Brother is supposed to be about raising money for charity, right?

If so, I think they should donate all the proceeds to anti-bullying charities. Like the one Jade Goody used to promote.

No offence taken - you're right - it's absolute brain rot telly. Watched only by the mentally infirm and educationally challenged. The only reason I know about it is because it's been mentioned on EVERY UK news channel at some point over the last week or so. It's obviously been a very slow week for newsworthiness!
