    Is any Mechanical Engineer here as I want really some help from a Mechanical Engineer

    I want to actually know how I can draw the profile of tooth gear is there any equation for it?

    I want to know it urgently as it is important for my project

    I asked my friends they did not say it clearly so only I googled but it also did not threw up some satisfactory results

    so only I asked here

    In between there are not very good mechanical engineering forums in the web!

    I like to rely on myself rather than going to professors for each and every thing

    Einstein did not ask his professor "What is meant by E and mc2 and What is meant by photon"

    Einstein did not ask his professor because 1) he didn't have one anymore and 2) he couldn't have because that was his RESEARCH.

    And do yourself a favor and look up "to throw up"

    why do you need an equation, just open up your cad program and do it, or like I do, the old fashion way with a pencil and paper and a straightedge.

    i am amazed that you have't found a single Mechanical engineer here! may be after some time there appearrs one. I have done engineering in Electrical so can't help you!
