Hello DP Members, I am using DP since last few months, I really thank Kartik to suggest me this forum. In no time i have been a frequent visitor to this forum, and almost fall in love i would like to hear success stories from various members using DP. My Story: I helped a guy in doing some JavaScript and he payed me instantly $15. ( though its not a big deal but was really a success story for me apart from the loads of knowledge i got from here ) I hope everybody will enjoy their stay here, and will put some stories very soon
I joined the forum last summer when I decided to shift my writing from a small second income hobby to my full time job. In April of last year I was working in a small office on a construction site earning - well, I'm not going to say how much I was earning, but it wasn't a lot. After about 7 months of membership on DP, a little networking and a hell of a lot of hard work I earn at least twice my income of April 2006. I work only when I want to work, and at the moment I'm getting away with working just a few hours a day. What's more, this extra income has allowed me to do things I never thought possible. My vast student debt is slowly but surely vanishing, I'm heading off for a holiday in New York in a few weeks for the second time since November, I'm travelling to Pamplona in July to run with the bulls and, perhaps most importantly, I've acheived my ambition of becoming a writer that I've held since I was first able to pick up a pencil. For this I am entirely indebted to Digital Point. Without this lively, vibrant and friendly forum of customers, friends and acquaintances I'd still be sitting in some Godforsaken office somewhere, wondering what happened to my life.
