I've been told that if my site (which has been online for a few months now) has a pagerank of 0, it means that I have been blacklisted by Google. Is this true? I've seen the spider hit quite a few times, but my pagerank stays at 0. Thots? http://www.wienerstick.com/
no it doesnt mean that. if you get no results for a site: and a link: search then you probably have been blacklisted. 0 pr just means there hasn't been a pr update since you've been online.
are you talking about the site from signature? if so, it seems not blacklisted but dropping to 0 after you had some higher PR, usually is associated with blacklist
If the site is blacklisted or not indexed than we have Grey Bar instead of white background of Page rank bar. Is that true ?
PR of 0 doesn't mean your blacklisted. Having no pages show when you use site: command could mean you got de-indexed or you haven't been indexed yet. Don't know about the grey bar theory.
search for your main url (link) and you see some details about your site so you are indexed. If you see a message like: No information available blahbah then you are not indexed. If this is followed by "Click here to go directly to site http://" you are not yet indexed, if that last line is missing you are probably black listed
I'd like to ask! One of my domains which I bought from someone has it's domain blacklisted from Google, is there a way to make it so it isn't blacklisted? I of course know you have to email someone *Google in this case* But has anyone have a link which contains a guide to get unblacklisted? - I have no idea why the domain is blacklisted in the first place.
Have you tried 'reinclusion' at Google? http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?answer=35843 Maybe the previous owner made something wrong with his site.
