Just found a discussion about that somewhere: http://savvygate.com/savvy/Wi-Fi.htm The initiator said that he would surely earn good money. But others were mostly the opinion that it doesn't convert to clicks. I too think, that it will get very few clicks. But what if the owner has a million pages of that? I already came across someone who stated that he has so much. A blackhat method to get rich?
There is no content, just Adsense ads. I would imagine that it will probably get banned fairly soon. I guess I'm wrong about a ban; it looks like that site has been setup that way since at least April 2nd: Savvygate.com [via] archive.org How do sites like this manage to not have their accounts banned?
but how come people visit their site..by this type of marketing? Like people talking about it on forums and he gets hits lol..I guess we should stop visiting these sites..they are using us as tools to make quick money.
Likely not banned yet as not got near to earning the $100 and didn't trigger a review. If google concentrated on banning all offenders like this quickly, then it might stop them creating more MFA sites and every other publisher would gain because the advertising budgets wouldn't be siphoned off by similar sites.
Great example! I thought I had already seen the ultimate made-for-adsense site, but I was wrong. This page is the best example I have ever seen. Have you looked at the home page? xhttp://savvygate.com/ (remove the x) Blatant TOS violations and Google inaction aside, let's look at the positive. The home page is an absolutely EXCELLENT list of high-paying keywords (key phrases). Look no further. Select your high-paying niche, right here. I can't think of one that has been left out. <edit> mesothelioma, cord blood </edit> Google is caught between a rock and a hard place. These kinds of sites bring in millions of dollars (tens, hundreds?). They have very high CTR rates, because there are no other choices. Shooting them all at once will cause a short-term drop in Google's earnings. Wall Street's continuing growth expectation is a huge reason for Google not to act. In the short term, the stock price would drop an unacceptable amount. Ahh, what to do? .
LOL, look funny. im not sure if Google change policy to place an ad on the non content page. but i am sure the visitor will click the ads because there is no link to continue.
It will get banned ig google comes across it.This is surely a page created with intention of serving ads. Even if it had a few lines of content, I would deem it to be for the purpose of serving ads only.
"it'll be shut down sooner or later" Meanwhile both the publisher and google earn... I'm wondering what google guys think when they see this first time: "wow guys this is gooood for us, hey... but we need to shutdown.... it's against TOS. f$ck TOS.. let's wait 1 week and then we close him allright?"
Nothing on the site why has he started a New Thread just for showing us No Content site with Google Ads on it How come he is still here in DP ? and also google dint ban his account /?
Reason 1: want people click on the ads Reason 2: not read the adsense policies Reason 3: tell adsense team to ban the account
The site is basic black hat. It only serves users ads, and puts up content for the bots with no ads. Google will not drop his Adsense account, but will remove the website from their index. Surf_Dude is 100% right…Google wants the money that the scraper sites make. It’s a cash cow with 40-70% CTR and CPC in the 20c-40c range, but they don’t want them in the results. So they keep the accounts around for top black hatters, because it is a cash cow, while trashing up Yahoo and MSN. Google’s only concern is their stock value and public view at this point. The only black hatters in the last year I have seen lose an account was due to low revenue, or really did something bad like click fraud. PS. I also wrote Google once about a scraper site to see if ads and scraped results was in compliance with Adsense. They responded with “At this time it is!â€.
