Free Image Hosting Site - Re-Design, want opinions...

I recently purchased and re-designed PixelShack. I would like some opinions of what everyone thinks of the redesign and any constructive critisism. THE SITE IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH IE6 (so please don't post about that :))

Anyways, PixelShack is a free image hosting site, that requires no sign up. The site is quick and reliable; great for hosting images for forums, blogs, myspace pics, avatars, etc... I hope people find the site useful.

    I look forward to feedback,

    Thanks :)

Neat design. Align the logo with the rest of the content, as now on the wide screen resolutions it looks strange that logo is aligned left while everything else is centered.

Looks good but as a visitor I dont know what I can exatly find on your site or to do there. Easy explanation of "where I am and what I can do there" would be nice.

I have heard that suggestion before. This weekend I am going to work making what you can do more clear.

I really love the design of the site! A couple suggestions:

    • Use a DIV tag to align your content with the rest of your content. You can accomplish this by editing your external CSS file, possibly located at css/style.css of your site.
    • Add a some slogan text so that visitors know exactly what you are offering.
    • Move your upload field up, as with some resolutions it is below the page fold. You can move the contest offer below the upload field.
    • Run a site spell check and correct the misspellings. I have found many spelling errors, such as the word "verrified" on the contest page.

    Thanks!
I agree with you about making it clear that the site is a free image host... I am going to add something to the header that says this.
I will move the upload field closer the top. (and of course fix the spelling issues  )

What do you mean by pre-loaded avatars?

I did a few site updates this weekend including make it more clear on how to use the site.
