I'm not using my YPN account very much right now, so I figure I should partner with somebody that doesn't have it. As far as I know, that is not against their TOS. I'm not sure what to do for the split, but I know taxes are at least 30% for me. So if all the money comes to me and then I send it to you, I still have to pay taxes on all of it. But if you/we make enough, I think I can write the money that I give you as a business expense, and not have to pay income tax for it. I still would have to pay SS and Medicare thought I think (15%). Anyways, I can figure all that stuff out if somebody decides they want to do this. Just PM me or post here with your site's details, and how we would split the money.
why you make this post, just pm the person who has made post about looking for partner who have YPN account..
If you don't even know what it is, then it probably won't appeal to you. For partners, I'm looking for people that have been here a while so I can trust them.
this is a blatant tos violation. while that matters little to many, to protect yourself, you should make a contract with whoever and put in there that if you get terminated for this tos violation and ypn decides not to pay you (for whatever reason) that you are not responsible to pay your "partner". jmo
It doesn't seem so blatant to me (then again I don't really read any TOS). But from what I have read on here, it says something like 'you cannont sell, transfer, etc.. your account'. I don't think it says anything about partnering. It does say you can put the ads on other sites than the site you applied for YPN with. So I don't see how this is against the TOS.
not being rude, only gave advice to protect yourself. read the TOS - very clearly states you must own the site you place your ad code on. many ways around this. not really the point of my post. but, if you have any doubts, give them a call. im sure they will be very happy to tell you that sharing your ypn account is a "blatant" violation of tos.
Interesting how you don't really read any TOS when you are agreeing to them, that will bite you one day... and it clearly states that you must own the websites which you publish ads to.
Ok thanks for the info. I wasn't trying to be rude either, I just always heard people saying it's against the TOS to sell your account, but I never heard partnerships were against the TOS.
just make yourself the technical contact of the site and become a part "owner" -- YPN has yet to approve me -- still waiting
