Wordpress Version 2.1 or Ella Is Out!

I upgraded. Now is there any way to bring that "Read the rest of the entry" text back?? I mean now a symbol "->" is displayed instead of that. So any way to bring older text back?

 

If we upgrade to WordPress 2.1....will alot of plugins and themes not work properly? It seems to be a big jump.

Anyone with experiences to share, maybe with previous versions? This would be my first major upgrade. I dont want to cause a lot of plugins and themes to suddenly stop working properly.

 

the features are great -- the swtich from rich test to code is a breeze now!
plus spell checking -- thank god!
i have2.05 and I am upgrading all of my blogs to this version -- the features are worth it -- seems much faster to

 

its worth upgrading even if its only for the fact that 2.0.6 has a huge security whole in it!!

 

over at wordpress.org people are having some issues with 2.1 -- hmmm worth reading up on b4 upgrading....

 

That's reason enough to upgrade from any version...

I must look into those security holes...

 

I upgraded mine and haven't had a problem. Yay love the new features! Was very easy to upgrade.

 

Does anyone see any documentation on the pseudo cron?

 

I think it's best not to upgrade to 2.1 just yet, maybe wait for a little while longer when more themes and plugins are compatible.
