After an account has been banned for whatever reason, is is the Domain thats been banned or the publisher. In other words, can a new publisher put adsense back on that particular site again or use new domain to publish ads.?
I'm not a Google employee and don't work for AdSense, but it's generally my opinion: It really depends. The Publisher is banned from using AdSense on any other domains. But, it would depend on whether or not a publisher got banned because of content on the domain. If there's no issue with that domain then I would assume that if someone else applied and got approved then there wouldn't be an issue with putting ads on that domain. If some publisher got banned and they ran their ads on this forum then the digitalpoint.com domain most likely wouldn't get banned from running AdSense. Does this make sense?
I've heard stories of people who have put AdSense on a particular domain and have been banned because that domain, unknown to them, was previously associated with a banned AdSense account. However, from what I've heard, if you can prove you bought the domain in good faith and have no relationship with the previous owner (whois data etc) they are happy to reinstate your account. Ergo, it's the publisher that's banned and not really the domain - at least the domain can be 'unbanned' if you ask them.
If a domain is banned on an account, that domian will remain banned from adsense as far as showing ads on it is concerned.
Use Adsense's ads preview tool to see if ads will show up for a particular domain before putting your Adsense codes on it. Sometimes Google will ban whole domain names and not just the publisher.
Thats the big question. My friends account was banned due to illegal clicks on his domain and urging people to click on the ads. Can I now place ads on that site or do I run the risk of being banned too?
You never know. Google is pretty weird. My friend got banned like that. He bought a site that was banned from adsense and he also got banned. I think for example if its your first time being a publisher and they ban you, your domain dosent get banned but if you keep on trying to sign up with new accounts and keep on putting adsense on the site the might ban the domain. Thats what i think. - Prilep
It is usually the publisher with its own account number. If you get a banned site from another publisher, you re-include it. There's a field where you can explain your situation as ne owner and usually, they'll reinstate the site under another account. You need to bring bona fide proofs though....
you better ask google if the banned the domain.. tell them that you want to buy that site from its original owner and if they have any objection with that particular domain.
The best path is to just ask Google about this. The worst thing they can tell you is that it's for the publisher. At which point, you setup a new company shell just for a new AdSense account.
I did just that Jack and the ads showed up. All the same, I think I´ll write to G and ask them if it will okay. Thanx for the help anyway though.. )
It's best to write for confirmation, yes, but it's 99.9% a certainty that if ads show up for the domain, then the domain isn't banned. If the domain was banned, you would get an error message.
Is it an easy thing to get banned from adsense? Like say your content and everything is perfectly fine and ur not clicking on your own ads but you promote the hell out of it and put it in all these directories , message boards etc... so your getting traffic from a lot of different sources could there be a way like someone could get u banned for example a bot gets a hold of your site and overloads it.
Definitely. Sometimes, you don't know who and why. When it's too late, it's too late, you're out of the picture
There is no full-proof way to NOT get banned from Adsense. Adsense is such a monolithic entity in the PPC game that they feel (because it's true) that they can ban anyone on a whim and send the same standard "invalid clicks" email for every occasion. Your only protection against Adsense is to not give Adsense such Godlike control over your site and your Internet livelihood. Never, ever give a faceless corporation the power to destroy you overnight.
