Does Google approve sites that are just directories? I'm not talking about a MFA site, I'm talking about a high quality directory for a specific subject.

There are directories having adsense on them and i did not hear any bad story about this. So i guess, they accept this.

Many directories have adsense, as long as you are within all the common sense ToS you'll be fine with that.

no problem with directory. you can use adsense with directory site. well of course, google will not allow you to add adsense to "P0rN directory". As long as you stay away from those sites, you are safe.

yes def. especially if your ads are dynamic like mine. although i do not have pr0n on my site, i have dynamic ads displaying on only link category pages. if i did have a pr0n category i would have to alter my code so it woudnt display...

also..CTR isnt wo good on a dir unless done real well, all tricks aside.

    good luck.

Ok thanks. Another question though once you get approved for AdSense on one site can you just put AdSense ads on your other sites without them approving your site?

Yes, you can, as stated in the AdSense FAQ, so long as the site meets the terms and conditions

Thanks. Now for the directory site you can put AdSense ads on it like you guys said, but what about the inital approval what do you think Google would think about a directory? Would it be better to use a diffrent kind of site for the initial approval then put AdSense ads on the directory site?

You are OK to have adsense on directory sites but I would expect the CTR to be dismal on directories. Most directory owners monetise their site in other ways.

Yes, people dont really browse or read directory sites. Webmasters just use them to gain links etc.
You are better off either using CPM or just having paid listings.
