Win2k & Office Question

    Hi

    My husband's laptop suddenly doesn't want to run word and throws errors when opening.

    I tried the Office (2000) repair utility and it came up saying MSIOff9.mof was missing. I then tried the reinstall option and it didn't improve things.

    Before I uninstall and reinstall from scratch does the following from wbemcore.log mean anything to anyone?

(Wed Jan 24 10:20:20 2007) : Removing old MOF C:\WINNT\System32\WBEM\MOF\good\MSIOff9.mof
(Wed Jan 24 10:20:20 2007) : Loading of MOF C:\WINNT\System32\WBEM\MOF\MSIOff9.mof was successful.  Moving to C:\WINNT\System32\WBEM\MOF\good\MSIOff9.mof
(Wed Jan 24 10:21:25 2007) : Core physically unloaded!

    I also have MOFCOMP.LOG which has this

    did u try re-installing it?

    uninstall and try to do a clear installation. it may help.
