hi I am a newbie and would like to transfer 200$ from PP to Xoom .. I'd like to know if Paypal charges tat 3.5% for the transfer or not ..
nope it doesnt, i have done transaction through xoom and is very safe if u send 200$ from PP you will get 200$ in INR through Xoom, but xoom charges a transaction fee of 15$ and a exchange rate of 43.45INR have fun
Xoom charges $8 upto $500 and $15 for amount between $501 to $1000. Exchange rate change day to day and today's exchange rate is US$ 1.00 = INR 42.9000
must be i have done a transaction of 800$ and was charged 15$ for it but i would say 15$ is ok rather than requesting a cheque from paypal which takes 20 days and charge 15$ too for it even if its 100$.
First thing that paypal minimum withdrawal limit is $150 and paypal charge $5 for any amount for check withdrawal.
Im doing transaction from paypal to xoom also.. and xoom is really reliable... though their currency exchange rate is bit lower...
They are fast and reliable, the fees are high though (to me.) I guess if you compare to a real wire (Western Union, etc.) the fees are competitive, but not compared with PayPal's withdraw to bank account.
