You dont have to do that. Just monitor your AdSense website for suspicious activities. Take initiative to stop them. Inform Google about the incident and let them know about you are trying to stop it. You should be fine. At leat that's what I did.

I think it is a good way to stop the suspicious activities temporarily by banning the IP while you are making your investion.

3rd party monitoring software may not be accurate.

Adlogger only protect you when some body click on it. My buddy recently got banned for click fraud. He received the same standard mail form G saying "you are banned because of illegal click/impression" . After checking all the logs it came to our attention that somebody came to his page through search engine and later refresh the page 136 times in less than an hours no click. His IP was 84.124.XXX.XXX. Later in the day some other person came with no ref link and IP 84.124.XYX.XYY refresh the page 120 times. Few hours later same story 100 something refresh with just a little diff IP. Grand total of the day came out to be 400+ page impression in 10 hours. It's hard to track something like this when you have 30K+ visitors daily.
Send all the stat to G but just like everybody know what G do best, send you a pre-written email.

To prevent that, and to limit content steal (and to save bandwitch) I've installed a system on my server for counting impressions from same IP. If an IP request more than X pages in less than Y minutes, I send an error page (obviously with no ads there).

^^ I understand erectly what you are saying.

When we applied for the account Google never asked us to take a php, sql and java quiz, and if we can make 80% or above our account will be approved.

Grrr... A new IP and this time hundreds of clicks!

I checked AdSense and none of those clicks were counted so I guess G is on top of things. I just hope I don't get the boot for this.

Ya, I don't have any of my AdSense sites in my sig. My site that is being click bombed is pretty popular so I never mention it on webmaster related sites. It has nothing to do with webmasteing anyway.

All this discussion of click-bombs has prompted me to remove all my sigs at various forums...

I'm not one to think "It won't happen to me!" ... I'm the opposite!

So your account generates 14,000 fake clicks a week, no matter how much you explain that to google i doubt you would still have an account

People who are in competition with you
People who just don't have a life and like this sort of shit

The same idiots who go round and smash stuff for the sake of it, scratch keys all the way down the side of people's cars etc.

Woudn't adlogger help with this issue? I know it's not 100% accurate and all.

But it DOES stop displaying ads when you tell it to, I will give it that much credit :)

You should have a support email addy from the "g" folks.Don't get too excited for reporting this though. It will only put you in the cross hairs for other action.

If a visitor leaves his mouse hovering over an AdSense link, the AdLogger will consider that as a click and will notify you with it. AdLogger is a fantastic tool but it does need a few tweaks!
