    WelcomeOtaku.com is a site/forum dedicated to anime. An Otaku is a person who is obsessed with anime, video games, or the computer, and rarely leaves home. :)

    This site used to have anime downloads available for members that reached a certain number of posts, but I discontinued it because of the low amount of revenue and high server fees.

    This site is 3 months old and has a PR of 2.

    » Traffic

    * December: The site was attacked on december and the old owner decided to just take the forum offline for about two weeks until he decided to work on the site again and make adjustments to the servers security to prevent the attacks.

    * January: Traffic was low again because I had a bit of trouble getting the site/forum moved to my own host, but eventually I got it down. Shortly after, we were attacked again. Site was then down for a few days. When the attacks stopped, I got my host to make adjustments to the security so that if we were to receive more than 10 connections from a single IP, it would be blocked. So far, no problems.

    That should explain everything about the stats.

    » Revenue

    No revenue. Only put adbrite ads yesterday, didn't even care to make a channel for it. Just assume no revenue for now, but be sure to know that there is definitely potential for revenue with that member base and the traffic.

    I bought this site out of boredom and to have something to work on during the holidays. School's almost starting, so I'm not going to have time for this and now want to sell it.

    Just sent a bulk email to members a few hours ago telling them that the site is back after being attacked, so as you can see from the screenshot below, the members are starting to slowly come back. :)

    No, the files are hosted on 3 other servers that have been cancelled.

    The actual site itself is hosted on my reseller.

    Sorry, missed this one (Can't edit my previous post):

    It used to have hentai downloads, but the links are down and I cancelled the servers that host the downloads, so I just turned it into an anime discussion site/forum.
