Wat the hell! Who here outsources?? Whats with these indians chargin $600+ for...

5 days worth of work or less?! Isnt $250 or so the weekly rate for an person living in india? Seriously I dont know how much longer I can do this! If I wanted to pay high rates I would get someone from the USA who I could put my hands on if the jacked up the job!!!

The rates one has to pay is relative to the service provided and as such one has to be experienced and know what the typical rates are

I never consider the source of the outsource I consider the quality and timeline, functionality, quality control, of the service provider

Experienced operators use proven outsource partners that deliver the service

 

You need to post what the point of the complaint is about. Did you get hosed? Or are you just another person stuck in a dead end job that was riffed?

 

Ummmm....How about giving some specifics here? It's a bit difficult to read your mind, especially with these tin foil hats we are wearing.

Excellent point. What does he mean by someone from India would be happy in $250 per week! Its all about quality really, though of course the cost can be slightly cheaper if you hire Indians because of the exchange rate difference.

But yet, you just cannot classify a country or community and say that this amount is good for them for so and so work. Its a prejudiced mind at work that says that...

 

If the person ripped you off then by all means speak your heart out. If not don't rationalize people from India. I bet if you hire an American it'll cost you more than what you are complaining about. The only programmer I know from India makes USD$1600 per week. His company bills him out at around $5000 per week. But, he's pretty top shelf. Perhaps a bit much for a project where you want to pay $250 for a week's labor.

 

Indians are mostly working USA jobs now anyways. Folks in the US are getting paid less and Indians are getting paid more. Pretty soon stuff'll cost about the same everywhere. Welcome to the internet, where border's don't matter (unless you're communist).

 

I am just confused .There are some people who ask , how can Indians work at such a low rate ,you are asking how can they ask such a rate? .You should be concerned only about your work . Measure it in terms of quality , rate and delivery and then decide . Why to single out a particular country ?

I think the rate is depends on experience and your budget.

If you limited your budget and then just find someone who can accept that budget not get the expert one and complain wanna pay lower than he ask for.

its not where they are from that count , its the quality of work they do , or do u feel superior may be? if i understand u will accept to pay somone xxx if he is from USA but only xx for the same work if he is from india?, that's almost racist man.

any specific situation? well...just sometime i get people to do work, and they want to charge a lot for a simple job, and im like WOW! i might as well get someone over here to do it!
