So I started Squidoo and started linking to few of my sites and its helping a lot on PR(at least I see quick result on new site). Now can I create Squidoo pages for products or items which are related to my site. So lets say i sell movies and I add some director bio and then link to movies of these director to my site? is it a good idea.

Squidoo is currently a great place to market anything. Their set up is also very cool about commercial pages. It's working for you. It's worked for many others. You sould take a risk and put the page up. It doesnt take long. I say go for it.
Excellent comment. If something brings you good traffic then you should always do more of it. Try to tweak it a little to see if it improves. Always keep trying something new.
