And we see who you cried over, who you made a fit about, and who you didn't. Thanks for highlighting that for us ;)

So you are against abortion too?

Always wrong? Nah, you're against the death penalty because it typically tends to be used against people you admire. I have no issue with the death penalty.

Now that we have that out of the way, maybe you'd like to explain why you want the US to pull out of Iraq so your buds (terrorists) can take over there? If you think you've been waiting for an answer, I've been trying to get you to answer that for over a year now. Will you answer it today?

Not only did I say it, but sourced it as well. Your "translation" card simply doesn't work. I've made you a fool over it before and will continue to do so. Your "doctored up" version of that verse was just that, "doctored up." Editorialized. Don't play that with me.

They are not my translations. They are the translations of islamic scholars that you discount, when convenient, because you believe you are more knowledgeable than they are.

I'm calling you out on your editorialized and highly doctored verse and quoting from, instead, three very highly respected translations.

Brush up on your taqiyya skills. This was about as poor as it comes.

I've not paid much attention to your posts and probably will not. You previously disclosed your understanding of the subject:

I am against death penalty but I am not against abortion. Why? because fetus is not a separate entity than mother and can not survive on it's own. In order to forbid abortion, we have to force a woman against her will to be carrier for a fetus. I don't believe that as a society have the right to take away a women freedom of choice. On the other hand, it is my opinion that as a society we should provide enough resources for any women who desire to give a birth to child to be able to do so without being worried about economical consequence of such decision on her future.

Now that I have answered your question, can you answer me if you believe in freedom of choice for women or do you think priests and government should force women to live as they wish? The other thing is that if you have no problem with death penalty then why do you criticize Islam for having death penalty? Do you think Muslims are not capable of making laws or do you believe only white Christians should have the right to make laws that executes people including the teenagers?

That's what I figured. Most people I come across who pretend to take the high moral ground over the death penalty have no qualms with the wholesale slaughter of innocent babies.

Murder the innocent baby who has done nothing wrong, but save the baby murderer who has demonstrated they cannot fit into society. Keep the murders, pedophiles and rapists safe, give them more chances, but toss that innocent baby in the trash

I believe in a man/woman taking responsibility for their actions. I don't support freedom of choice to murder, I support freedom of choice to take responsibility for one's actions. If you are truly interesting in my positions on this topic, spend some time in this thread where others wilfully volunteered their excitement over killing babies:

You're using broad sweeping generalizations here. Narrow down what you believe the issue is over. Just saying "islam has a death penalty and you are against it" doesn't help identify what about islam you are wanting to defend, again. Are you referring to the death penalty, under islamic law, given to your buddy saddam? I had no issue with that, but as I recall, you were terribly distraught over it.

I find it interesting that Muslims are comfortable with the idea that the Koran calls for the death of those who do certain things but they have no idea what those things are.

They just assume that what they do is not "mischief" and they're okay.

Nobody is criticizing Islam for having the death penalty. We're trying to figure out what "mischief" warrents the death penalty according to Islam.

For pete's sake. No wonder gworld is so confused. He doesn't even know what the heck this topic is about.

How many times have I asked for a definition of "mischief in the land?" Not once have I required a defense for the death penalty from anyone. The penalty could be a stern finger wagging for all I care. I just want to know what's considered "mischief in the land."

Lets get one thing clear- you aren't making none look a fool apart from yourself;)

Its just denial upon your behalf becuase the verse doesn't agreee with what you want it to be. No one can claim that they are more knowledgable about the quran than another, There is one general meaning and every one understands it in their own way.

Is the bible word of god- or just edited versions by john, paul and GTech et al?
