Will this long page help in search engine positioning?

I've put together a very long page in order to garner more content and keywords. The purpose being serp. I need another 5 spots to really appreciate the traffic that 'kennewick real estate' would bring me.

    Here it is: http://www.joelane.com/kennewick-real-estate.php

I think I did it tastefully, but would appreciate what others think about this idea.

My belief is that it is better to target your keyword phrases on seperate pages. By so targeting in this manner you can have your title, H1, and first paragraph all using the phrase you are targeting.

I have not read any studies of late but old studies showed users do not like to scroll. I always want my most important content on a page above the fold line figuring people that do not spy anything useful when they first hit the page will move on anyway.

I clicked link in your post above before ever beginning posting. It has still not loaded three mins later so figure you are going to loose people due to load time.

I certainly don't want to lose anybody to load time, as that would defeat the purpose. However, I am surprised it is loading slowly, as the addition of text shouldn't be a time consumer. I wonder if the construction of the page has something to do with it.

I hear what you are saying in regards to multiple pages being optimized. I believe that too, and have scores of pages optimized for 'kennewick real estate.' I'm baffled. I've got 4 spots in Google to go and the sites that are ahead of me are doing very little seo.

I am about ready to give up on 'kennewick real estate' and go after long tail keyword and keyphrases. Which I should be doing anyway!

From what I have heard real estate keywords are highly competitive. If your site is newer than your competition it is probably just going to take time.

I've considered that. My domain is 11 years old, however, for 10 1/2 years is was used for my So Calif Painting Contractor business. It was only two weeks ago the Google finally de-indexed the painting pages!
