It seems that Google pack referrals are finally available to all international publishers. Up to now I wasn't able to select Google Pack as an option. When I logged into my account today, suddenly there it was. This is defintely good news for the publishers who where left out in the earlier "international release". Now it's an even playing field and all publishers have the chance of earning more with Pack referrals. Google pack finally available to all publishers - (info about the initial and 'real' international release)
Yes, it pays up to $2 per referral. It's double what you would have earned with a Picasa/Firefox only referral.
For me the internation pack was available two months ago. I was testing with Picasa individually (fits better on my site) about two weeks, but finally I remove because I got many clicks but few sells; also many sells was paid with only $0.10.
The initial release of Google Pack excluded a lot of countries. The amount you earn will depend on where your traffic comes from and where the person is who downloads the pack. If your site gets mainly US traffic then chances are very good that you will earn mostly $2.00 per referrral. Other countries obviously earns you less. For me it's not that much about the earnings, but rather promoting the products. I love Firefox, Google Earth and Picasa. The earnings are just a bonus. After all if you can convince more people to install most of the software you will help them make their PC a bit safer - Norton Antivirus, AdAware and Firefox makes for much safer online experience.
Thanks for the info guys. I've updated my blog post to reflect the changes. I really thought that this was finally the real international release and not just part of the phased roll-out. I'd like to compile a list of countries newly supported / countries still not supported. So if you have access to Google pack for the first time please post your country, or if you still don't have access please post so as well.
Ok thanks, added Pakistan to the list of non-supported countries. Anyone from a country that did get included?
I live in New zealand and although its not on the list of surported its in my options for promotion Gonna try it to night Fingers crossed its extra income but like others have said its just good to promote good products $$ is a bouns
