Yeah, storms were quite bad here for a few hours in the night.
Parts of the city were flooded and all trains were actually officially stopped.
A lot of traffic jams and such as well.
But, I'm ok, my family is ok, and no real damage to the house, so all is well :D

Really? must have hit harder there than it did here, though I heard my area was hard hit.
We took caution - any loose objects, flower pots and such stashed away in the shed.
But again, I was never really worried.
Infact, my little brother was trying to talk me into 'camping out' in the shed that night.. Lol

There were lots of fallen trees here, and it was quite hard to ride home, but there were no casualties of people I know fortunately :)

I read that the wind was really roaring and fast.

In Malaysia we have terrible floods.

In the North, Icebergs are breaking up.

We have to love and take good care of Mother Earth because we have no other planet to go to.

A falling lamp post took the front off two terraced houses about a mile away from my home in Manchester. At least, I assume the lamp post did the damage, but whatever caused it all of the red brick on the upper floors were ripped away, leaving just insulation between the upstairs bedrooms and a long drop to the pavement.

Perhaps more seriously, the bowl in which I put my cigarette butts when I go out back for a smoke was blown over, so I now have dozens of spent Marlboro lights and a destroyed bird house littering my garden like some sort of carcinogenic confetti.

    Nothing serious here.
But we didn't have electricity for the entire evening and night.
A few trees fell down a couple meters from our house, taking the electricity cables down aswell.
Really suckes because I got my final exams now and wasn't able to study properly. Hopefully I did ok :)
