Strange thing about indexing

Two weeks ago I've redesigned one of my websites. With this new redesign I've also added some new pages with content on them.

Now my counter from cPanel shows me that Google Bot was on my page everyday, even today.Google Webmaster Central shows me that the bot was on my site before I made the redesign ( 5 January ).

Now if I check my indexed pages I don't see the new ones indexed.

What could be my problem ?

    Thanks

Give it some more time...sometimes it takes a bit longer and especially with the way Google's been acting lately who knows.

Probably nothing. Just because you get crawled, it doesn't mean it gets indexed (right away). There is a difference. Furthermore, those stat's don't usually know the difference between the Bots...

There is a indexing schedule for each site depending on factors such as PageRank, back links, age/authority etc... this is what determines crawl/indexing rates.. NOT when U happen to put up new content

Hang in there.. U should be fine

I have a forum that google downloads about 1,000 pages a day, yet only indexes half of all pages(yeah, its chewed 1.2GB this month so far).

It also takes time for the new pages to pop into google, which seems to have a dependancy on PR.

Now that you are making changes to your site, the spiders are returning more frequently so that they can keep their index current. That doesn't mean, however, that they feel your site is relevant for any searches being performed.

Keep working on making sure your pages are optimized for no more than two or three similar phrases each, and then work on getting appropriate links into those pages using keywords that the page is targeting. If you do that well, you will start seeing improvements.

The amount of crawling a spider does on your site is not indicative of how your site will rank. It is simply the search engines keeping their index updated.

As everyone agree, you just need to wait to have the new page indexed by google. Google is a snell while everyone are hurry...

Have you submitted a google site map. As the bot is coming to your site everyday means your site has a good link popularity and it is a popular site.
I am sure they have crawled your pages and soon you will see that your pages are indexed.:)
