I have just updated the pagerank for all the directories listed at Web-Directories.ws. The site has 1100 free directories and 1200 paid directories listed.

Great list, mine is not as big as yet, but growing 101, how long did it take you to get to 4500,

did most of the listings get submitted by directory owners or did you create some listings yourself?

Thanks for your comments. It has taken 2 years to get the 4500 directories. When I started I had a head start because I already new of a thousand or so from my experience with Best Web Directories.

I have entered about two thirds of the the sites myself, especially the niche and regional directories. I actively researched much of the niche directories.

The biggest work is keeping up with all the changes, especially free directories that become paid. There has been quite a few in the last 6 months.

A quick note about PR. Google is not allowing PR checks from this host so I have to run a separate script. I willl run it every couple of days.

Meanwhile, any new additions will show PR0 temporarily.
