Pagrank mirror?

    Hello all,
    Was just rooting around some domains for sale on ebay, and the high PR ones seem to be "mirrors". What exactly is this?
    I checked the authenticty of the pagrank, and I got back:

    "The domain is a mirror from"

    What does this mean?
    Thanks in advance!

    That means that the page is just copy of other site. It doesn't have unique content but is publishing materials from other site.
    Or the domain have redirection 301 to other site. Not sure.
    Waiting for other opinions.

    I think it means that the PR isn't real. But not sure either.

    It means that it is showing PR of other site and is fake pr all done through redirects ;)

    I think it is regarding the content. It's a sign of duplicated content.

    Thanks, although I still don't really understand....
    How can, by using redirects, a pagerank be reflected onto another domain name? Surely the pagerank is based on the links to that actual domain?

    Basically, when you check the page rank of xyz.com domain the checker detects its page rank but since it's redirect to abc.com it shows page rank of abc.om

    you simply put php code:

    <? if (stristr($_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT']),"google") {Location:http://www.google.com;
    exit();
    }?>
    or modyfied but it looks like this.
    If you chech pr you get google's.com pr not your real
