somehow my website's URL got published in thestreet.com and bam! 1,000 visitors. This is a big deal for me as I never knew I would get 5 visiotrs. This just made my day -Alex www.wslounge.com
Hey that's great news! Well done, it's good to celebrate but remember you've got to keep it up. What's your plan for the next 1000? Good luck, p.
Congratulations! How did you get your site there? Did you ask for a link exchange, or was it by accident?
thanks for those acknowledging the effort instead of just hating. I know some people out there get 1,000's+ hits a day. I also recognize how this might be a celebration thread but that's no reason to come at me with an attitude. You have one life to live and enjoy it! how I did it? I do not know, I submit my sites to 2 websites and I guess they liked it. Thestreet.com is probably the biggest financial website and that's what got me so excited. I just take my time trying to write good content and hope something good happens. The quote "if you build it they will come" comes to mind. As for the next 1000? first i have to get 1 hit -Alex www.wslounge.com
good to hear alex. Definitely, it's a good time to celebrate for you. I'd like to congrat u, m8. Work harder for your next 2000 hits, man!
How exactly you got 1000 visitors from that site...? Did u publishd an article with a link to your site...?
Did you write an article for Yahoo Finance? How did you get on thestreet? ...and congrats, by the way. enviable!
Why is your alexa ranking so low? http://alexa.com/data/details/traffic_details?q=&url=wslounge.com And where are you getting your stats from?
The ranking is the average over 3 months. Look at his 1 week averages. Also, compare it to another site that gets about 1000 views/day and you can see it in the graph. Put the range to 7 days and you'll see a sharp jump in his traffic.
Before the page disappears, be sure to get a headline and full article screengrab! Articles can disappear quickly on major sites. Use either/or on your site in your "headlines" or "PR" section (or just keep for your personal archive).
