    If an important website , a .edu, .gov , or even authorative .com website link to a website, will it be any good if this website link to me? example:

    domain.edu=>link to Website A ==link to website B.

    if I own the website B, will this link be good for me or it is just depend on the importance of website A and is just a regular inbound link?

    Thanks

    As far as i know, .edu and .gov websites have high PR since they are trusted sites. Therefore website A will get a good PR. If website A now has a decent PR, then it will be able to transfer a good PR to your website. If not, i dont think it would make a difference. Just my thought anyway!

    You've got the right idea, but I'd substitute PR for trust/trustrank in the sentance above.
