I had an acer many years ago, it lasted about a year. The one I replaced it with around '93 or '94 is still running.

I'd just get a nice 19" crt for $150, unless you are really lacking desk space or want to be cool crts have better picture quality and are much cheaper.

    Good luck!

I did a lot of research on this and I found a beautiful 20" LCD for $330 (6 months ago). IT's made by AOC. Not very common, but it's an amazing monitor.

I like Samsung and Viewsonic monitors. I have a 17" samsung LCD too but I upgraded to these dual 20" LCDs

Viewsonic monitors are best. They have best colors and long life, followed by Phillips.

May be, perhaps they haven't marketed much in our country thats why most people don't know them here. I have never seen an Acer monitor ever.

I recomend NEWEGG.COM. They have the best prices and warranties available. Newegg is MUCH more accurate on reviews than Pricewatch.. because Newegg checks each review against your order history to prevent falsifying reviews.

They had some cheap LCDs about a week ago... most people liked them I almost bought one myself.

Samsung all the way with LCD monitors. Newegg is a good place to get them as they're quite cheap.
