Why are directories Popular?

    This thread is cracking me up!

    The main reason I run a directory is that it keeps me absolutely 100% focused on one thing online. Nothing I have ever done in the past has kept me so concentrated. The secondary reason is YES! I can earn a few dollars every month.

    an0n... You are right, there is lots of "poopular" floating around and how better to see it all than to run a directory...? :D

    Have you ever searched for a keyword like pet stores and seen a directory page in the results? What you mean how? People visit that page thru the search engines and click on the sites listed. Very simple :rolleyes:
