I haven't used cj before so getting a little confused with their style of text link. I just want to use a simple link but have been given the following: www.great-expectations.com Why is the image there? Do you need the image? What if I don't want the image there - can I do that? Thanks, Jon
You don't need that image, but if you remove it you won't be able to track link impressions through CJ. That image is a single pixel that tells CJ how many times your link has been viewed. Your link will work just fine if you leave it out, but leaving it in really shouldn't cause you any problems either.
yep very true. you just need the http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-xxxxx-yyyyy part. You will not have the impressions and CTR stats, but is ok. notice that the xxxxx is your PID (your web site id number) and the yyyy is the AID (advertiser Ad identification) - the anrdoezrs.net domain you are free to swap with tkqlhce.com, dpbolvw.net, or kqzyfj.com wherever they are all the same.
