Hello everyone, I think the Pats and Saints - the Pats because the Patriots are a different team in the postseason, and in my opinion, Bill Belichick is the best coach - he makes his team better and one you can't overlook in the playoffs, no matter how they did in the regular season. Plus, they are the one defense that has stopped Manning more than once in the postseason - until Peyton can beat them, NE is still the team to beat in my opinion. As for the NFC, the Saints, both with New Orleans' devestation from Hurricane Katrina, plus the fact that they seem like a more complete team both offensively and defensively. The Bears are rather weak offensively, and even their defense has had its problems defensively over the last several weeks. They were fortunate to get past the Seahawks; if they don't play better this Sunday, it might not be enough against the Saints. Therefore, I see the Patriots and Saints; just for the record, I think the Patriots would beat the Saints in a close game - that would be my idea for an exciting rest of the postseason. Take care and have a great day! Sincerely, Joe Chengery III
We agree exactly, on some points I made in the first post. ~~~~ I will certainly cheer for the Bears. The best quality Super Bowl seems to be the Pats and Saints. 'Quality' and 'excitement' are not always the same, and all four teams could be exciting.
Just look at the Bears early season scores. If they take an early lead, and the Patriots make just a few mistakes under pressure, it could actually happen! ~~~~~~~ Edit: Westoff, might like this: Copywright Daily Herald (Chi Suburbs) Drew Brees, Saints Strengths Will to win, desire, and more than enough arm strength Intelligent Commanding presence Mentally, ranks right up there with anyone in the league Weaknesses Hard to find a lot; perhaps height... ...edit...mentions the weather factor might help the Bears... Bottom Line As good as it gets. He's an infectious leader who has been underestimated throughout his career. He's a son of a coach...(edit to shorten)...this makes him mentally prepared better than most. A guy you don't want to face in the playoffs. Rex's 'lists and evaluation' is not good enough to motivate me to type in the info. Go Bears , but who really looks like the champion?
Gemini, glad you see my point that Rex is playing against a much better quarterback. I really think this is just the beginning for the Bears, they will definitely be back next year. Westoff.
