As a webmaster who makes a living on the internet I thought I'd share a few sites that I've made good money with so the newbies don't get discouraged.

    primaryads.com

    trafficz.com

    cpaempire.com

All of these offer different types of programs that are perfect for veteran and newbies.

    I hope this helps!

you forgot Maxbounty.com and azoogle.com and hydramedia.com all these are great networks also. I always say spread your risk and dont just singup for one.

Another good one, ahem, dare I say it, is the Friend Finder group. You can get up to $1 per unique click with them by displaying some 'adult' type ads. Quite a quick way of earning money if you are just starting off and don't mind adult content.

there are good networks out there but what is good and works for one could be not effective for others. Especially when this relates to new webmasters/aff. I think it would be nice to write your personal experience/review/tips of your favorite network in a thread like this :)

I agree with Drugoon. I'm a firm believer in testing, testing, and testing.

All of the above Networks have proven to be successful and have great reputations however (clichè comment of the day) to each his own.

I'm an affiliate marketing newbie and I'm curious:

Why are these excellent "starter" programs?

Why are the better than linkshare, cj, shareasale?

How are you affiliated with them?

They are good starter programs because they are soem of the best ones. while linkshare and CJ are good i find both of those consuming to pull links search for offers etc. While Maxbounty, Azoogle and others make it easier plus you have account managers to help your out.

I am in no way affiliated with them except i use them to make money :)

The program in my signature is great for video game sites with offers like a Free Playstation 3 that pays over $1 when someone types in their email or zip code. Sign up and check it out.

Thanks xboxundone, that would be new to me and useful.

As for my original questions I was hoping mikejmu might answer.

I was honestly curious if the post was just to push the cpa affiliate link in his footer or if he really likes those programs, why are they better than the ones I mentioned, etc.?

Commission Junction is awesome for physical product sales. (i.e. clothing, electronics etc). If you live in Australia, the equivalent is Commission Monster and DGM. Check them out!
