Will changing hosting service impact my PR

    I am not satissfied with my current hosting plan. I plan to move to new hosting service this would also mean change in change in DNS. I want to understand if this will impact my ranking.

    I have changed couple hosts in a year and it has not impacted any PR value it remained at PR5 :)

    Not affected :)

    PR is purely based on the number of incoming links.

    I heard that age of domain also matters for PR
    Is there any impact of changing the hosting and DNS register mapping.

    no, as said links is considered in the algorithm for PR, for changing host or DNS not unless of course your site was down for a long time.

    age does matter, i have one site that does not do any linking and it gets pr 2

    Your site MAY lower in SERPs for certain period of time, but in case if nothing except of DNS (and maybe IP) will change, it will quickly recover to previous positions. I've had such an experience in the end of December. I moved my site on 25th (it was on 12th position), then it quickly dropped to the fifth page and on 8th of January it started moving back. Last 3 days it is on 6th position and I'm happy ;)

    your pr is of your incoming links and is based on your domain name so no need to woory , just chnge your space whenever u want to change it and take the enjoy og new hosting
