How long does Text-Link-Ads take to display your site on theirs once it's approved?

    Hi,

I have 2 sites already earning form Text-Link-Ads, but I got them approved early last year.

I am just wondering if anybody knows how long it takes before they update their sites information so that my next 2 sites that got accepted into their network last friday, when will they become listed within their site.

I have checked the Newly Added Sites listed and it is still showing the same sites from last Friday.

I was wondering how long they take to update their database & cache.

Hopefully it will be soon as my site got approved and the code also got approved Friday. So the code is on and it is now monday. It has been about 68 hours now since I put the code on and still my site is not up.

I want it up quickly as I know that people will want to purchase advertising of it.

The quicker it is up the more money I will make as the advertising will be on the site longer.

Yeah, but still couldn't find my site and I have not received any sales yet. One of my sites, once listed, I know will get sales in the first or 2nd day from Text-Link-Ads once it is listed.

Hmm, my experience is that it can take up to a week. After that, if you still dont' see your listing, I'd drop them a friendly email.

I can't see why they take to long, the quicker they get new applicants listings in their site the better and quicker they will make more money.

I know that there has not been any listings added since Friday in the "New sites" category.

Since sites are reviewed and added to a que, I'm assuming no one would be working over the weekend. Also, they may be off today in Observance of the King.

My latest site was added before the end of the year and still doesn't show up in the marketplace. I asked their support people about it and was basically told to have patience as they were experiencing a backlog of sites to add. Always been fast before, but this is getting rediculous. My other sites are earning over $100 a month. So, the nearly 3 weeks it's taken them has cost me well over $75 so far. Not much for some, but quite a bit for me.

I hope there is not a backlog as this space that I am using for them is costly, plus I have it displaying "Sponsors" with a square border around it and it is currently empty. I don't want it to be like that for a few weeks and once my site is in, I know that I can sell ads easily.

The quicker they get the site in the quicker they will also earn money.

Actually come to think about it now, why is there a delay. It can't be that expensive to employ a few more people as don't forget they are not getting 10% of a share, they are getting a massive 50% share of the revenue, which is alot.

I have just checked the site and they have now updated it with about 50 new sites. Mine is still not in the list though.

It looks as if they have only 1 or 2 people working on the approval part of the site. It looks as if they may have more demand that what they can handle, I think they need more staff as it only really backfires when there is a delay like this.

Don't sell to text-link-ads. Their inventory is pretty much public. That means Google knows your selling links on your page and you could get popped. I use textlinkbrokers.com

Firstly I can say that I have just looked at textlinkbrokers and you don't have to sign up to see all the sites that are selling links so that is very much public to me.

Also, how I see it is that if Google did pop your site then it is all wrong, why should our sites get popped for just selling ad space on our site. Google makes money from selling ads so why can't we. I am selling my ad space to make money and not just because my site has a certain PR and I can make money from that. If my site's PR was 9, 8, 7, 6, 3, 1, etc. I will still sell ad space to make money, that is the whole idea of many of us having a site.

The only reasons I'm using Text-Link-Ads is because they are popular, I don't have to take care of the customers as Text-Link-Ads does that so there is less for me to worry about, plus their code is easy to set up on the site, plus I know that I can get advertisers from using them.

That is the only reason why I am using them and not because of PR.

Text link brokers provide you specific link details after you fill out a contact form interested in buying a particular link. Text-link-ads allows you to see every link in their inventory after signing up for your first ad. So Google can crawl and record every site in text-link-ads inventory with ease.

Whether or not its wrong for Google to do is a moot point. I could care less what you guys do. Just sharing what I've found and tested.

You have to buy one first, then they give your account access.

I think he means that you have to sign up as an advertiser to gain access to the websites.
