Top 5 on SE's

I was just checking serp positions for a website i run, and noticed i am in top five positions on Google, MSN, and Yahoo!

I could never get my head around optimising for all three, but seems like it worked

 

congratulation terryuk,can u share some thing with us as i m very much interested to know.b'coz one of my site is on top in google but not getting good result for yahoo and msn.

 

Any tips on how you did it?

Btw how much competing web sites?

Well the competition isn't all so huge, but it still has competition..

Submitted to Yahoo Dir, Distributed 2 articles, get relevant links with desired anchor text.. that simple lol

MSN showed some love first putting me at #1, then Google for #3, then Yahoo! for #2

Is it a secret about how huge is the competition or you just don't want to tell us that?

Lol thats the annoying bit, overture is 500k+ but there are only minor searches, they made a balls of it

 

hey, I recently got the top five for my chosen keyword on my blog too! even tho my keyword is 'Dudibob' and I'm the only one hitting it

Anyway congratulations on getting top 5, I'm sure whatever keyword it is it's more competitive than mine

Congrats, good achievement, for some reason 80% of my sites rank 1 to 3 in msn, why? I have no idea, although traffics low for msn, its still my main source of traffic lol, G doesnt like me lol

 

G can take a long time for some sites and it sounds like your in that pile how long you been waiting?
