www.adsblacklist.com : Down ? Do you use it ?

I've been trying to connected to http://www.adsblacklist.com/ for a few days to get an updated list for my Adsense Competitive Ad Filter, but so far it seems that there is some server error. Can someone see if they can connect.

In case anyone doesn't know already , AdsBlackList provides a list of MFA (Made For Adsense) sites and low paying sites or ones that are used to get around this, like tinyurl.com

    Cheers,
    p ;)

I never quite got how that works. There are only so many channels you can use, right? Or does it use a database that's not on your AdSense account?

It was a good idea. But mfa sites are literally spawned on every minute of the day. So it's impossible to keep ahead of them with manual methods like adsblacklist.

Actually I tried to use it earlier, and I could connect, but it wasn't ever able to generate a list for me. Does anyone know of any clone sites?

Has anyone benefited from using their black list? many people are not reporting any difference with or without the blacklist?

excellent thanks for the update. If anyone hasn't tried it, I would advise them to check it out now. It helps to filter out those 5c ads clicks.

you can only block 200 sites though in google -- that isn't much of a dent in the MFAs that buy ads is it?

you want to create your own blacklist, that is relevant to your specific niche and site... otherwise, you are just filling up the filter with mfa sites that would never have appeared on your site to begin with.

and yes, filtering mfa's with my own custom blacklist works well for me.
