Product search engine which shows photographs of relevant products. Searches can be restricted by price, type of good, and retailer.
yup, if you have products to sell, you can submit your list of products, and they will categorize and index them for you Pretty genious on Googles part.
Froogle is a price engine website launched by Google Inc. It is currently in its development stages. Users can type product queries to return lists of vendors selling a particular product, as well as pricing information. The name Froogle is a portmanteau of the word frugal, which means thrifty, and the name of the company, Google. Froogle is of course pronounced the same as frugal. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Froogle
Froogle is very powerful. I am sure that you will find a benefit in it, ofcourse, depending to the business and products that you are offering.
Could you submit products even if you only sold them via affiliate programs like Amazon, etc? That might get messy...! markowe
Ahem, apologies, I see this has been answered elsewhere with a big NO-NO! Now THAT would have been a nice way to bump up traffic to your Astore

Seems like yet another good idea from Google. As far as I can see, Froogle is the old system and they are looking to supercede it with what they call the Google Base. I just wonder though, at the end of the day, isn't it just going to end up another battle for pagerank, i.e. for your products to end up at the top of the listing. And what will be the criteria for determining pagerank, I wonder...
Ha, good point, it does seem a bit like eBay. Just not so darn' MESSY. Also, it encourages lots of tagging of your products. And it's not an auction-based thing, most of the sellers seem to be companies.
