Hi, Is there a magical forumla to find out how much your forum is worth. Say you have a forum that makes no money as no ads, but has thousands of traffic, members good posts etc etc. Is there a way to value a board that makes no money? Does anybody know where you can find out if there are / were any big forum sales? thanks

Depends on how good a salesman you are,I have seen people selling their crap sites for ridiculous amounts.
A good point. Forum might be not that expensive but if you are a good salesman it can make the amount double or triple.

Picture of your forums from outdoor is also important, how you are recognized and perceptioned by your users and unknown users. The amount of Posts, well you can have smth like 2 000 000 posts, and 80% of them might be just a junk. Other forums may have only 150 000 posts, but of a great value to the user. How do you think, who will do better in the long term? --- Have you ever tried pricing your forums on auction systems, e.g. eBay?
