Would'nt it be nice for all our directory owners meet @ one place.
Is this a reality? Would this happen?

Would be a money saver and easier to do this on an AIM Live Chat or something of that sort. With a big group of people of course. I would be interested.

most of my clients come from DP and search results so....
and i already got over 50 directory owners listed in my yahoo messenger as well as MSN and cant remember whos who anymore... yea its like that

I think it is quite impossible to meet personally but I think we can have video conferencing

Directory owner meet means atleast 1000-5000 people meeting each other.

 

Nah, it wouldn't be creepy, however, I'm 100% certain that meeting the people behind the screen names will in fact surprise you. (look wise)

I would say a very large sum , and you also have to take in consideration the fact that not all of the directory owners live in the same country...

 

I'm just wondering what things are directory owner's gonna talk about when they meet... google, yahoo, msn, PR, SERPs, backlinks.... creepy...

you are correct.... but if it was important enough like the "world cup soccor" is were it is hosted in a different country every 4 years then it could be possible as you have 4 years to prepare for the big event

It would be a good idea to start first in US, then to other countries.

Obviously topics include fighting spam, money making, PR, selling directories and how to improve quality of directories in eyes of search engines.
