Does anyone else find it ironic that gworld is about as Anti-Bush as you can get and yet many people refer to him as gw? :D

I haven't seen it mentioned, but it is funny :D

He's not only anti-Bush, but anti-American as well. He bashes America like it's going out of style. Never a bad word for terrorists though.

I understand that as a former corporal, you firmly believe that any thinking person is your enemy and therefore the enemy of your country. You are not a corporal anymore, so it is time for you to learn that people who think are not your enemy and there is a big difference between you and your country. ;)

So therefore since you don't think you are automatically his enemy, right? Now what good word for the terrorists are you going to give today?

I see you had a link to your own stupid post but this is from Norway Ministry of foreign affairs:

"Norwegians were surprised and unprepared when Nazi Germany, with its superior military might, attacked Norway on 9 April 1940.
    ......
At that point, the German attack on Norway had already started. A huge fleet had departed from German ports with troops and materiel. Nearly the entire German navy, six army divisions and a large air force contingent took part in the attack. The first targets were eight Norwegian towns and cities along the country's lengthy coast.
    .............
Norwegian defence and security policies had suffered a total defeat. On 7 June, 1940, the Norwegian king and the Nygaardsvold government boarded the British cruiser HMS Devonshire. It would be five years before they could return.
    ...................
The Norwegian government resumed its activities from London. It was able to do so because the national assembly, the Storting, had given it the authorisation it needed shortly after the attack. Popular resistance during the war was also bolstered by the knowledge that King Haakon, and the Nygaardsvold government, had resolutely answered "no" to the German demands for submission after the invasion.
    ....................
In time, the government had recruited an army, a navy and an air force. When the peace was finally won, the Royal Norwegian Navy consisted of 52 vessels. These participated in ordinary sea war operations, including convoy service and the invasion at Normandy. The Norwegian destroyer Stord played a major part when the 26,000 tonne German battleship Scharnorst was sunk north of the North Cape in December 1943. Throughout the war, the Norwegian naval detachment popularly known as "the Shetland bus" provided a risky transport route between the Shetland Islands and occupied Norway. "

You are probably thinking about Sweden but it is not surprising that a trailer park boy doesn't know the difference between the 2 country. ;)

d16boy's ass handed to him once more. Does anyone know how many times this has happened during the last couple of days, 10,12? It happens so often I can't remember.

I believe we all understand...who you are for and who you are against. Carry on; you're doing a better job of communicating it than I can. Never a bad word for terrorists.

Zero. You can't remember because you have no real memory of doing so. It's all part of your anti-American ego.

Nope, I was referring to Norway then and ma now. Norway was neutral. It's a historical fact.

Thank you! But Gworld does not make "mistakes" he intentionally distorts facts to fit his own agend.

How stupid can someone be to claim that he knows the history of a country better than the Ministry of foreign affairs of that country, are you for real?

No wonder people laugh at these trailer park boys.

Since most likely you can not read, I suggest you watch the movie, it is produced by Hollywood, so it will be reliable for you.

    Heroes of Telemark

Plot Outline: Norwegian resistance tries to stop German troops to produce an atomic bomb component during WW2. Based on a true story.

Plot Synopsis: During WW2 Norway was occupied by Germany. In the clear deep fjords they tried to produce "heavy" water; a vital component in the making of an atomic bomb. A weapon that would win the war for Germany. Norwegian resistance movement finds out about this and the allied are alerted. But will they have the time and opportunity to stop this from happening?

Actors: Kirk Douglas, Richard Harris, Ulla Jacobsson

Norway remained neutral during WWII. Sorry, it's a historical fact. I'm not claiming to know more than anyone, I am just repeating a historical fact. Since I am not one to re-write history for my own greedy benefit, like you, I suggest you follow the link I provided and read up a bit more.
What is your obsession with trailer parks.

This has to be one of the funniest things I have heard on DP yet. Hollywood and reliable. Ah, ok.

I've never said there was no resistance, nor have I ever said that no Norwegians fought in WWII. What I said was Norway was Neutral during WWII. That is a historical fact.

You're not gonna win this one, so why not just walk away.

According to who? The boys in trailer park.

Too bad all the people in Norway that fought the Germans and died didn't know that they were neutral while attacking the Germans and killing them and getting killed.

"A training camp for Norwegian pilots, dubbed "Little Norway", was established in Canada. Norwegian pilots and crews on Norwegian aircraft took part in Allied operations staged from Iceland and Great Britain, and from France in the final phase of the war.
    ........................
Norwegian army forces were established and trained in Scotland. They were reserved for action in Norway, but commando units also participated in special operations, during the Dieppe raid and the attack on the Dutch island, Walcheren, in 1944.
    ..................
The groups were useful in reporting the movements of German vessels and the transport of troops and materiel, especially in connection with the battles around the Soviet Kola peninsula. In November 1944, Norwegian intelligence was heavily responsible for the sinking of the 41,700 tonne battleship Tirpitz in a fjord not far from Tromsø. When progress was eventually made in arming the underground Norwegian groups, often by parachute drops from Allied aircraft and supplies from the Shetland bus, the military groups became more of a problem for the Germans, particularly for Terboven and the Gestapo.
    ...............
Already in 1940, the first Norwegians were sentenced to death in German courts of war, and execution squads were active from 1941 and onwards. Starting in 1942, more and more Norwegians were shot in reprisal.
    ..............
After the war, legal proceedings were initiated against those who had betrayed their country. About 46,000 persons were punished for treason. Among these, 18,000 were sentenced to prison terms, 28,000 were fined and deprived of their rights as citizens.

A total of 45 Norwegians and Germans received death sentences, 37 of the executions were carried out. "

I suggest you send a letter to Norway government and tell them that they are wrong about their history and the trailer park boys have decided that Norway was neutral.
