    VB seems to be the most full featured out of the box, but is overpriced IMO.
    phpBB is free and you can do pretty much everything VB does, though it takes a bit more work.

    If you want a good solution out of the box, I'd go the VB route. If you have time to spare, phpBB.

    And try searching on the forum or follow the links at the bottom of this page (Similar Threads). This question is asked several times. There are free ones (e.g. SMF and PHPBB) and vbulletin :) Good luck.

    if you want free phpbb has all you needed.
    if commercial then go for Vbulletin as it has all you needed.

    If you need something for free, then check out SMF or PHPBB, else I'd strongly suggest going with vBulletin.

    DO a search? There's a thread like 4th on the list asking the same question and I know I have answered around 100s of the same question here...

    Anyhow Phpbb, mybb are both good for free ones

    phpBBFM = phpBB Fully Modded.

    phpBB would probably be a decent choice for this with the arcade/activity mod which is available for it.
