I find that questionable...that you actually thought. Setting that aside for the moment, Iranians involved in terrorism were captured and you are upset. What does that say about you? The Iraq government does make decisions. So does our (not your) military when it comes to terrorists. And that's what you are disappointed in. Strange, eh? I don't recall any discussion about children, but if your buds had carried on, children would not doubt have been killed. Yet you are disappointed. I can understand why you would assert irrational things when it's apparent you are upset that terrorists were caught/detained. It must really upset you that your buds didn't have a chance to blow something up. Why else would you be so disappointed about the capture of Iranians with terrorist information? How does one rationalize that? Upset they couldn't carry out the mission to blow up soldiers? Iraqis? So to reiterate, you are upset that the US captured Iranians involved with terrorism in Iraq? That says a lot about you, gworld. Perhaps the Iraqi government didn't know about their ties to terrorism? Not important though, is it? As long as terrorists can get their job done, you'll be happy. When they are thwarted, you get upset. For shame!
If there was a real government in Iraq the army would have informed the Iraq's government and would get permission to arrest these people, the same as they do with any other independent country. It is quite obvious that according to US command, Iraq's government has no authority in running the country and the puppets should only do what the puppet masters tell them to do.
Right, let's let those nice terrorists just go on about their planning/plotting, whip out some weapons, start firing and blowing shit up, while they contact someone to see what should be done. It's such a critical and thought provoking situation that any normal person couldn't make such a decision. You are disappointed your buds got caught. And it's so telling about where you stand. Very shameful, gworld. You're always on the wrong side with who and what you support.
From above. I guess you ignored these? Why else would you be so disappointed about the capture of Iranians with terrorist information? How does one rationalize that?
I don't think arresting this people would matter in one way or another in this war. How many people have been arrested or killed so far, has it changed anything in the outcome? Such actions without approval of Iraq's government just more and more proves to people of Iraq, the intellectual in that country and even people in the government that they are an occupied country with no government. I suppose as person who only thinks of war in term of American war movies and the military strength this will not make sense to you but for those who are capable of thinking, it is obvious that such actions and humiliating USA's own puppet government will only play in hand of insurgents and increase the resistance.
he wants us to lose yesterday....you know, by banning gw, it looks like GTECH has been having a conversation with himself...its amusing.
How long do you think that USA economy can support such a war? How long will the people in USA support such a war? In one side you have an army at breaking point and the huge cost and the other side you have people who have no option but to fight and nowhere to go with almost zero cost in comparison. who do you think will win? It is interesting that the same CIA that engineered the break up of soviet union through Afghan war, it is blind to the fact that the same thing is happening to them.
You know, after pondering all these responses by GW, I am betting somewhere on this page he has mentioned the following: The CIA trained Al Quada, The USA can't support this war, the war has gone on to long, it costs to much, Iraq is a puppet govt....how am I doing?
We were in WW2 for, what, 5 years? And WW1 for... three? This war has been going for nearly 6. We haven't had a draft, we haven't had food rations, war bonds, pro-war propaganda campaigns, Espianoge Acts, etc. If anything, our country seems to be able to support this longer war better than these two in the past economically. Morally, though? Well, not as bad as Vietnam, I'm sure (nobody I recall has been spitting on returned troops) but it could be so much better. In WW1, there was opposition, but no Espianoge acts. In WW2, though, we all came together after the attack in Pearl Harbor and were able to admit there was an enemy, we were able to unite, and fight them. How come we can't this time? God only knows, but heaven help us. This war needs as much support as we can get. The good guys. ... in my perspective. In yours, that is opposite. So let me rephrase my answer... US. Last time I checked, our army is not near breaking point. We still have hundreds of thousands of troops left, and millions more that could be drafted. I know, I know, it's hard for you to admit, but do so. It's true. Or you could continue to be ignorant. Pretty good! You forgot to add that we are the bad guys...
LOL. Another of those posts that USA won the WWII and John Wayne always gets the bad guys. Do you realize the WWII was over 50 years ago and a conventional war against different countries and their armies? Do you realize that Soviet Union also won the same war while losing 20 million of it's population? Why did soviet lost in Afghanistan? Against whose army is USA fighting and how do you know that you have won and defeated the enemy when a future enemy is born every minute. This is not a traditional war and can never be won with fire power, considering it as such only insures the defeat. If you like to know the difference, this is my post from 2005 when most people around here were still trying to act like John Wayne.
Chulium nice post, good points. Thank you for keeping us on subject unlike Gdegengerateworld. It's nice to see some well thought out points made for a change! Great job!
Chulim; This shows that your opinion is at least supported by gay trailer park boy if not by facts or intelligent people.
After Mia's response I decided to take you off my ban list to see what kind of nonsense you would reply with...but I came up with this one instead... So who did win WW2? I don't think it was Japan or Germany...I think it was a coalition of which the U.S. was a part. Can you not ever say anything good about the U.S.? Are you so filled with hatred for the U.S. that you must make dumb posts such as this one? Apparently so.
gworld seems to get very upset when anything positive is said about the US. And very upset when his buds in Iraq are portrayed as losing.
I know you don't know the answer, you have already shown with your baseless claims about crusaders but the answer is quite simple. The Axis countries, that is the German side for you since you most likely don't know this term: Germany, Italy, Japan,Hungry,Bulgaria, Croatia,Romania,... The Allied countries, this side you probably know as American side: England, USA, Soviet Union, France, Canada, Australia, China, Poland, Belgium, Netherlands, Norway,.... The war ended with victory of Allied countries over Axis countries. I am tired of handing you your ass all the time and giving you history lessons, can't you just pick up a book and read for once, instead of all your meaningless postings, d16boy?
