    Adbrite irritates me.

    Adbrite -1
YPN 3 (still waiting for some success here)
Adsense 8 ($80 in 3 days before they unexplainably banned me)

Adbrite is great for extra income / pages that you cannot put YPN or Adsense on. If you have a choice, use Adsense or YPN. If not, adbrite all the way..

Adbrite isn't too shabby if you have a random site(such as an enertainment site.). But it SUCKS for niches(such as health related, economy, birds, ect...).

Most people will put adbrite on a site where it would be 100x better to use adsense/ypn.

Adbrite also pays out, good company. Be awesome if made it more like adsense tho.

I haven't tried YPN but I prefer Adsense.
Adbrite is better for high traffic sites.

    Think of adsense as prostitution.

You whore out your site to the various Johns (your users) and with Adsense, Google is your pimp. As your pimp, it takes about 3/4ths of the earnings and smacks you around as you desperately try to understand how to increase the profitability of your site and dosing so without facing the wrath of Google (like their new decision that images next to ads are a violation). So in the end Google uses you, they take the majority of the cut, and in some cases they may allege that you cheated them - in which case they just throw you the hell out and keep 100% of the earnings made.

    Moral of the story:

    1) Don't trust Google
    2) You're better off on your own
    3) And stay in school, because you're not going to become a millionaire overnight

the problem with adbrite is that they only pay through cheques,
some time back i got a 15$ cheque from them.my bank in UK charged 13$+ as fee (or whtever).less than 1£ went into the account.

Since i can't use Adsense (banned) and i can't use Yahoo! (don't live in the USA) i guess im stuck with Adbrite.

I can't complain; it's not really that bad at all. Only problem is that i live in the UK and the only way they pay you is by check in US$...

I just got a $0.05 click from Adbrite. Now I am trying to get relevant ads for my site it could take them 3 days to review my site and start showing the new ads.

    Thanks for your input.

I have never used YPN so no opinion on them. If you can use AdSense then you should use it over AdBrite. If you can't use AdSense then Adbrite is your best choice. AdBrite is not as well targeted as AdSense because they have fewer advertisers but the seem to be one of the largest networks after AdSense and YPN; I don't know how big AdCenter is since I have not tried to use it yet. Finally, whatever you do, don't buy ppc advertising on the AdBrite network only on specific sites that you select.
