There seems to be alot of heated discussions going on and I am sensing a bit of hostility in the forums today, has anybody else noticed this? Any theories?

There are days like that unfortunately. May be too many of us are confined to quarters due to cold icy weather.

Generally though we seem to have a good group.

Except for the average spam rate which is getting a bit worrying I would say that people are the same - they don't read the entire threads and just hit the reply button, causing a lot of missunderstandings and useless fuss :D

All in all, I feel good around here, even if I am not that old in the community.

    Regards

haha, just joking, i dont feel any hostility well mabe because I did not post in the religion & politics section because you will never win with these people who just stay on dp talking about religion. Its a webmaster forum for god's sake lol. ( If half of these people hit the pipe they would just show the love lol, we would have dp hippies lol)
PS: I dont do drugs :D

    Hell yes lol

I went to bed happy and with 100% positive iTrader, woke up with numerous people pointing this thread out overnight to me:
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=219163

Checked my iTrader and low and behold my first negative iTrader.

Talk about jumping the gun, I think communication should be a lot better around this place. What I find is the most trouble though is assumptions. People assume things and then starting saying too much too early, then later they are like oh ok sorry I ruined your thread I was wrong. I've seen a couple of threads like this where threads are basically ruined by someone who made a claim, then a couple of posts later apologises for being wrong!

Mostly though, its a happy place with bluebirds, lollipops and rainbows!!! :)

Nah... In general, I think the atmosphere in DP is still very much friendly. Just a few misunderstandings happen sometimes.
