    I prefer FOX than Net because of the color of the browser and also for ctrl T...

    This question has never been asked ;)

    FF is great but it bugs me in that (for me at least) it chews up HUGE amounts of memory and it has developed a propensity of crashing of late.

    IE - well, you know...

    Opera - really close but not quite a heavy hitter...plug-ins are really tough to find and install...does not work with every site, etc.

    I use both. Firefox is great for plugins and for me some of the pages load faster when I browse the web. I like the plugins for FF. I still have a habit of going back to IE. Firefox also has some great SEO plugins.

    I'm with FireFox right now, though for a lot of remote-access maps on uni I have to use IE, since FF doesn't display them correctly.

    If that's true, you have far greater problems than the choice of which browser to use... :rolleyes:

    Exactly.

    Security = common sense + real-time AV + real-time anti-spyware + firewall

    Anything else is just dumb. And blaming it on a browser or an OS is even dumber.

    I think my problems were related to a weather function that ran through IE...even with AVG on my comp I always had a virus...I've been running FF for two years virus free...just never went back. I had a real time Virus program, a firewall, and a firewall on my router...the weather program used IE, and through its pop-ups I always got a virus...when I switched the weather program to running through FF, I never had another problem...

    I've been having the same problem, but my computer is also showing its age. The only time I really use IE is when testing site changes.

    I use IE and Firefox, but for me the best is Firefox.
    Firefox is very fast and very sure, IE is slow and it has popup.

    Firefox has always been a slug for me. IE is much faster.

    Try enabling the popup blocker... :rolleyes:
