can i transfer my web site with database from one server to another

is it possible to tranfer the web site with database from one server to another , the both server have whm10

i want to transfer them because i dont like my hosting provider

so plz help me

is whm10 the control panel or is cPanel?

 

My understanding is that a cpanel to cpanel transfer at the admin level will rewrite the values for username_database name. Your new host may do this for you.

I have no experience doing it that way. If your username on the old host and your new host are EXACTLY the same it might work anyway.

The way that I know works is to do a database dump of all your tables, move the site, create the new DB and install the tables.

- dump your database
- set up your site (or cms) on your new host
- upload your database on the fresh intall.
