One of my sites has dropped out of MSN completely. It has been in there for over a year,1st page for my 3 main keyphrases, all pages indexed and sent good traffic. Now it is nowhere to be found.Just vanished completely.I can't even find any reference to it.

    Any Ideas?
    Thankyou

Same for me, happened second time, first one it just came back after few weeks, but this time it's been more than two months and index page gone, only "about" one is somewhere in 3rd page for some keywords. I tried to put old contest (same one before I noticed that index is gone), will see if this helps.

Did you have a lot of low quality links or an affiliate site? MSN is removing these from its index.

MSN is removing sites that have a lot of links and rank well. It seems they can't figure out how to ignore low quality links like Google can and just have to ban the site.

I'm in the third position with google. Still nothing new about msn, so all what I can is ... ***k them. They should update everything, now they are using some "UFO" techniques...

Same here, Im a pr4 on google, and do quite well on yahoo, yet I don't have a SINGLE page on msn :(
I know not as many people use it, but its still very big, and I feel like I am missing out on a lot of visitors because of it.

I hate to quote myself MikeSwede but............

and this particular site doesn't have Translation Gold.
Just out of curiosity why would that affect any site.I have used it quite successfully on 2 or 3 sites and my indexed pages have shot up.

Guess I didn't read all posts before I posted... I went to your site and it looked like you used (flags...) TranslationGold to translate your pages.
I have huge problems with my site(s) where I use TranslationGold, but only with MSN, especially site with links out to other sites. Cached pages are not there and the ones that are still in MSN have for some reason got a 301 (Permanently Moved status) from MSN.
So, I falsely (?) presumed that this was your problem too. Glad to hear your pages/site is back.
You mentioned that you have used it on other sites, do you have any problems with these sites?

The other sites I use it on are fine and well indexed in more than one language. In fact I'm not using Translation Gold but a script called Commonsense Translator.
It actually caches the pages and search engines have no problems with it at all.

    You can find it HERE
or if you are feeling generous you could use my affiliate link HERE ;)

you may try http://search.live.com/docs/submit.aspx to resubmit your site.
    ..... submit to Live (MSN)

I recommend webmasters recheck his/her own sites by using site:
( site: your site .com )

It maybe possible MSN is transfering all search datas and functions to Live now...... and possible they missed you
