Do i Really be on all this search engines??

    hi all
    listed in more search engine is better than have a good list on google yahoo and MSN? I really never use small search engines so i thin submit to 1000's of engines is lost of time...

    I have been watching a lot of people surf lately and you'd be surprised how many use smaller search engines.

    I think it depends on who the site is directed to. If it's for adults, I would go with all. If it's for Teens I would go for the big 3.

    You get what you expect. I'd go with the big ones first, then I'd go along with the small ones ;)

    Why not submit to as many as possible? It can't hurt can it ? You would be surprised of some small search engine bringing you 100 visitors unique per day at a certain point. Wouldn't that be nice?

    What I mean is that you can never know who is looking for what and where. So why not try to be there waiting for them ? :D

    Speaking from experience. Even if it sounds funny, I receive visitors from "Mamma" http://www.mamma.com/ quite often :D

    Balderdash! You'd be lucky to have 100 visitors in a YEAR from all the others combined


    You only need the big 3.5 (Google -Yahoo - MSN/Live - Ask )

    Yes I agree with you

    The BIG3.5 consitute more than 92% of traffic from Search Engines

    and instead of submitting to other search Engines you can simply concentrate on those 3

    and also Google is market share is more than 56% overall so concentrate on optimizing your site for google as it will bring you lot of visitors
