I use dreamhost as well, and I think they're excellent

hands down, I have to throw in my 2 cents with www.liquidweb.com -- they've had amazing support and services for me for the past year and I'm going to definitely stay with them as long as my company is around. (which will be years and years)

Support is excellent.

However I got a few database-driven sites with them and the databases keep getting disconnected every now and then.

Again i would not recommend Netfirms. If you want slow server respond and poor service, use netfirms. Other than that, use others.
