Why doesn't my .gif work in firefox?

    i updated my action gif with a new gif not much differnt!
    the gif is kinda large! 2.42 mb ( 2 big ?)
    but it works fine in ie and aceHTML but doesn't move in firefox just stays on the 1st frame! the old gif worked fine!
    all i did was upload a new gif with the same name!no html edit etc!
    what would cause this!:confused:
    any help would be appericated!

    thanks for the replys i found the problem!
    some how image animations got disabled in Firefox web developer plugin!
    tho it still shows the old gif on aol (how long does cache stay on a computer)is this a aol setting? cuz ie an firefox show the new one!



    should i be worried about the 2+mb image size?

    2MB is way way too big for a single image. Some flash animations even have smaller file sizes and are supported by almost all browsers. you might wanna trim that down or use another format to support your animation.

    Yeah, I'd be worried about the file size. It's a tad too big.
